About
Our feet stay flat on the ground
Melmac Sports builds places to play and runs the competitions that fill them. Everything here came out of the hustle, on the 3×3 circuit, now in concrete and hardwood.
How we got here
It started with 3x3
In 2015 we partnered with the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas on TNT and Smart's Pambansang Tatluhan. Three-a-side basketball was barely on the map here. We spent the next decade putting it there.
Four FIBA 3×3 World Tour Masters. A Challenger. More Quests and Lite Quests than we kept count of, and the first Super Quest ever staged anywhere in the world. We ran events and played in them. Melmac competed on the pro circuit against the best teams on the planet.
Then came the Melmac Cup, and with it a part in the campaign that carried the Philippines to the Olympic Qualifying Tournament. That is the thing we are proudest of: a Philippine national team that triumphs.
Thirty years of industry experience sits behind the company and two decades of it under the Melmac name. All of it now points into buildings where the next generation of athletes can actually train.

Mel Macasaquit
Mel flew commercial aircraft before he built basketball courts.
He is the reason professional 3×3 exists in the Philippines in the shape it does. He has persistently turned up to FIBA conferences, and convinced people that a three-a-side game played on one hoop deserved a real stage.

What we are for
Somewhere to become good
Filipino athletes have never been short of talent. What they have been short of is somewhere great to develop it. Melmac Sports offers that greatness with proper surfaces, proper lighting, proper competition.
Take what a decade on the international circuit taught us about what a real venue needs, and build it in Cavite. Then fill it with leagues, clinics and open play until fun and mastery develops in the people who use it.
Community and camaraderie matter here as much as competition. Most nights the courts are full of people who will never play professionally and are having the time of their lives. That is the point too.
